We consciously craft clean, delicious and meaningful teas for a healthier and kinder world, within you and around you. Each of our organic blends encapsulates the holistic health principles of Ayurveda through carefully selected adaptogenic herbs to maintain physical, mental and emotional health, whilst our practices protect nature and the environment.

Organic
Our restorative and stimulating blends would be impossible to create without the high quality ingredients produced by organic farming, as it is in the absence of pesticides and fertilisers that plants boost their production of phytochemicals (vitamins and antioxidants). Buying organically grown food—free of harmful chemicals, bursting with more nutrition, taste, and sustainable sustenance—is an immediate way to improve health and protect nature, securing a hopeful future for generations to come.
Ayurveda
Originating in India more than 5,000 years ago, Ayurveda (which translates to 'life wisdom') is a sophisticated mind-body health system based on the 5 natural elements of the universe - earth, water, fire, air and ether. This ancient wisdom includes natural medicine, yoga philosophy and meditation, designed to help people maintain health, happiness and longevity. Ayurveda believes that the mind and body are deeply connected and able to heal each other and offers many practices for expanding self-awareness and achieving a state of inner balance. This includes the use of special herbals known as adaptogens to create tonics to support, cleanse and balance the systems, tissues or organs of the body.

Adaptogens
Adaptogens are classified in natural science as an elite class of botanicals, such as roots, shoots and leaves known to work with our body to help us adapt to stress, giving us stamina, energy and strength when we need it most.
The Adaptogens within our blends have been carefully selected to offer a multitude of health benefits, including;
-
Boosting the Immune System
-
Managing a Healthy Weight
-
Increasing Physical Endurance
-
Improving Mental Focus
-
Reducing discomfort caused by ill health
-
Encouraging a balanced mood
Natural Elements
Central to the philosophy of Ayurveda is the belief that all humans are made up of the five natural elements, each relating to specific parts and processes within the body that when in balance bring about greater health and longevity.
-
Earth - Earth expresses itself in the form of our sense of smell, teeth, bones and nails. When the element of earth is inharmonious it can result in a weak body, a sense of insecurity, lack of muscle and a tendency to feel the cold more easily.
-
Water - As humans we are made up predominately of this element. The element of water is closely related to the fluid systems of the body, digestive flow, hydration and reproduction.
-
Fire - a powerful element in Ayurveda, closely linked to the mind, expressing itself in obsessions, thoughts and emotions. Fire is also linked to the physical, expressing itself in the eyes and the body’s heat.
-
Air - the vital elements of life and is something that runs through each of us, present in our nerves and respiratory system. In Ayurveda air represents lightness, motion, breath and joy.
-
Ether - the element of space, this is related to any issues that fill these spaces within the body, particularly the ears and hearing.

Yoga Philosophy
Yoga translates to 'unity' or 'coming together' and is a healing practice of self awareness, which helps to balance the energies of the whole person with their surroundings, making the connection between the individual, people, nature and the planet.
We respectfully and playfully named our blends after yoga postures (asanas) that align with the herbal combinations that make up the blends and their benefits. We source ethically and package sustainably so that we protect nature and the environment in the awareness that we are all connected, ensuring that our products and practices have a positive impact on the world. Tea, like yoga, can bring us together, healing the inner and outer collective. This is our inspiration and our purpose.
